Our Council

The New Zealand Biological Producers and Consumers Society which owns BioGro is directed by a board of councillors elected annually from around the country.

Each councillor has a passion for and years of practical experience in organics. They include organic farmers and orchardists, lawyers, marketers, researchers, lobbyists, entrepreneurs and industry representatives. Their expertise and opinions on organics come together on the board to support BioGro, its certified producers and consumers.


Derek Broadmore (Chair, Barrister & Estamore Orchard, Wairarapa)
